I'm Nick Chaika, a photographer, filmmaker and mountaineer based in Vancouver, Canada, and the founder of NC Productions, a Vancouver video production agency.

Chaika Studios is Nick Chaika’s Vancouver-based landscape photography studio, offering original mountain photographs as framed and unframed fine-art prints produced in Canada.
My photography comes from a genuine love of wild places and the effort required to reach them. Many of these images were captured after days of trekking—high above the valleys, before sunrise, or in the final light of the day. The cold mornings, long climbs and unpredictable conditions are all part of each photograph's story.
Chaika Studios was created to bring those moments into people's homes. Every piece begins with an original photograph captured during my travels through mountain ranges, forests and remote landscapes around the world. The collection is carefully curated and produced as framed photographs that preserve the atmosphere, scale and feeling of being there.
I believe landscape photography should be more than decoration. It should create a connection to a place, inspire adventure and offer a window into parts of the world that few people get to experience.
Alongside Chaika Studios, I'm the founder of NC Productions, a video production agency in Vancouver. Years behind the camera on client films shaped how I see light, framing and story—and that carries directly into every print in this collection.

The company
Small studio, careful work.
Chaika Studios operates as a small independent studio rather than a print factory. The collection stays intentionally tight, and each release is chosen because it holds up on a wall — not because it fills a catalogue.
Prints are produced to order through professional print partners, which keeps quality consistent and avoids waste from unsold inventory. Materials are chosen for longevity: archival photo paper, durable PVC frames, and UV-protective glass. Every piece is professionally printed and framed in Canada.
We work with private collectors, interior designers, and people furnishing a space they plan to stay in for a while.
